Meet Chris Lee
Chris Lee is a talented radio personality who hails from Greer, South Carolina. His journey in the radio industry began in 1985 when he landed a job at WYAK FM in Myrtle Beach. Since then, he has been captivating listeners with his entertaining presence on the airwaves.
In August 2014, Chris joined the Audacy family of radio stations, where he currently hosts a show on Classic Rock 101.1. Each night, he brings his unique personality and passion for classic rock music to the listening audience, keeping them engaged and entertained.

Chris’s extensive experience in the radio industry has allowed him to connect with fans and build a loyal following. His charismatic on-air presence and deep knowledge of classic rock make him the perfect host for a station dedicated to this beloved genre.
Alongside his radio career, Chris is also a skilled actor. He has appeared in popular TV shows like Homeland, Outcast, Vice Principals, and The Righteous Gemstones. This additional talent showcases his versatility and passion for the entertainment industry.
Chris’s love for music extends beyond hosting radio shows and acting. He was part of the band Split Shot, which toured the southeastern United States. The band achieved significant success on the Cashbox Magazine Beach Music charts, with two #1 hits on the Cashbox National Beach Music Charts.
Chris left the band in January 2021.
During his time with the band, Chris began to further his education and earned two degrees from Greenville Technical College, one in Web Design and the other in Graphic Design.
Most of his time at home is spent with 5 cats, 4 donkeys, a lovable Rottweiler named Allie and his fiancée Patti. Chris built “The Man Cave” to be a working recording studio before the pandemic, but when circumstances changed, he began working from home in the new studio performing his on-air duties as newscaster on The John Boy & Billy “Big Show” weekdays from 6 – 9 AM and hosting the 7PM – Midnight show Monday thru Friday.
